Great location and great service

The location was great. The staff is really friendly and attentive.

The room could have been a lot cleaner . We used wipes to clean the counter and table and they were dirty.

Well located nice hotel

Nice location, right between 5th avenue (its less touristy, more local part) and the sea. Very nice room, the pool area at the roof is alse quite large and nice.

I can imagine that if the hotel is full, there might be too few sunbeds on the roof. However, that was not a problem for me. The key card kept deactivating.

Very Good

To me this is one of the best locations in Playa. It is slightly outside of the super crowded, cheesy downtown on 5th street, and there are many super nice and cute coffee places and restaurants, and a short walk to the long public beach. Excellent location on a calm street. Indoor parking is included at no additional cost. Great coffee in the lobby, all day long. Very friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again.

A few things could be improved: - there was ZERO electrical outlets in the main room. Even the lamp on the end table by the couch could not be plugged in. Quite annoying if you want to plug in your laptop while seating at the table. - there were only 5 hangers, and only one of them for pants. It would not take much to add a few more. - the A/C unit in the bedroom was too noisy (vibrations) to be used during the night. Maybe it just required to be tuned/adjusted. - there is a nice view from the roof top pool. However, the deck is rather small with a limited number of sun-tanning chairs. Could be difficult to get one during the day...

We enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

We were in a suite, and it had a balcony, a comfortable bed, a kitchen space with a table and a loveseat. The staff were pleasant, and the cleaning staff did a nice job on the rooms. The location was very good because it was off from the busier area, and not loud at night. We also enjoyed using the gym and the rooftop pool was wonderful for dipping in and relaxing while we read our books.

The toilet didn’t flush very well. The two burners stove could be updated.

Very Good

Accomodation is located at the end of the main shopping street so atmosphere was less touristy, restaurants were cheaper and more authentic. Loved it. You could still easily walk to the touristy areas (1-2km away). Also within a five minutes walking distance to a great beach which was more natural, much wider and less crowded and less noisy then the stretches closer to the centre of Playa del Carmen. Also, accomodation provided private parking free of charge.

We had booked a double room for four people expecting that there would be two separate bedrooms or that at least living room and kitchen would be separate. Fridge was sometimes a bit noisy and travelling with a 20 months old child made it a bit more challenging to hang out in the apartment in the evenings. Maybe our mistake for not taking a better look at the pictures before booking. we also refused to wear a bracelet around our wrists for access and reception was fine with us just showing it on demand so we kept it in our bags/ pockets.

Staff goes above and beyond, kitchen lacking utensils

Clean and beautiful front. Very nice staff, although not everyone speaks English.

The suite didn’t have a view, I stared into a wall or the hallway, and the curtains didn’t reach all the way which invaded my privacy. I don’t see why you would ever want or need a huge window looking into the hallway, I felt like a fish in a bowl. There was never any hot water in the shower. There was no knife or cutting board in the kitchen which was frustrating when I brought home fresh fruits or if I had really wanted to actually cook.

An amazing rooftop pool

We loved the rooftop pool, the friendliness of the staff and the location.

The room was much smaller than we imagined and had no patio, windows or balcony which was a bit claustrophobic. The fridge and lights did not work in the first room so we had to move and we could not use the gym when we wanted as it was being used for luggage storage for other guests.

Worths your money!

No breakfast, clean room and bathroom, great pool, good neighborhood, a lot of 7 Eleven markets and restaurants around. Really worths!

It was about 2km from avenue 5 hottest places. I use to walk towards it, because taxis were expensive.

I would stay here again.

Staff was great. Breakfast included. Located in a quiet part of town, not on the main strip. Close to beach. Parking lot on site.

Pool was closed most of our stay due to repairs. We had multiple power outages due to daily storms (not the hotels fault, but I expected a back up generator). Internet service was poor at this location. We like to bring a streaming stick and it was disrupted many times due to poor internet.

Very welcoming staff and clean comfortable room. We liked the gym and breakfast. Spacious room, great views from the roof terrace.

Location was very close to downtown.

We had a good time and enjoyed our stay but just before we were leaving and had taxi waiting, one staff said we still owed money for one of the rooms. They said that they made error in the charges and had to pay an additional amount. We had taxi waiting so I didn't bother to argue. A few days later I received a message from hotel through booking.com requesting I message them directly through a private a number. I said that if they had anything to say they should stick to the booking.com messaging. They mentioned that they overcharged and would like to give me my refund. I said to just credit my credit card but they said that I had to message them and that I'm to contact my bank for it. They made the error so why should I contact my bank. They should have just refunded me. So ..it's been a few weeks and my dispute through my credit card is still pending.

Very Good

Good location for me. The quiet end of 5th Avenue. Easy walk to the beach. Located on a quiet side street. Very little traffic. Safe neighborhood.

Sewer smell in my bathroom. I closed the bathroom door and left the bathroom window open every night. This kept the odor from the main part of the living area. Run the hot water for at least 5 minutes before stepping into the shower.
